changes that i want in my university

Until now, I feel nice and comfortable in the place that I study; I imagined that the things would be like I live until today. Study in the University of Chile for me is a privilege, for the recognition and for be one of the best universities of the country.

 Since I was a child I wanted to study here, I saw this place like the best and when I started to grow and think more deep the thigs about my future, and "la Chile" looked like my goal.

When I entry to the university, a lot of things changes to me. Has you know I am from the north and arrive to a crowed city and star to do things that I never did was difficult, but nice, is an interesting processes.

Other of the things that motivated me to study here, were the social roll that have the university with the country, and I have taken good surprise about that.

But like all the things, nothing is perfect. In the time that I’ve been in the university, I have notice about things that if it’s changes the faculty and the university could be better.

For example the organizations of the teachers sometimes are very bad, we had day where any teacher came and most of the student are present. I think that is disrespect for us, because a lot of my partners have to spend a lot of time in the public transport to arrive the university. A lot of times to other things happen like the irresponsibility with the grades, sometimes some teachers when they

Don’t know to do, the thing that they do is put 1. And if you don’t realize of that you are very badly injured.

 Other thing that I have seen this is that for one partial the teachers sent important information to hours to the test, there is no respect.

I think that in the university you can have a lot of very good times and very bad too, but we have to search the best way to solve our problems and be happy.

my favorite band

Well, this time I am going to tell you about my music.

I like lot listen music because it makes me relax and disconnect my brain of the stress. I the type of music I considerate myself like someone with a diverse pleasure of music, for example I like 80' music, the hard rock, and some reggeton to.

But if it's about pleasures one of my favorites band is queen. 

This epic band is considerate one of the most important bands of the history of the rock for their hits, their way to play the music, the revolution of the times and for a lot of thigs more.

 Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon was the member of this band. Freddie mercury is considerate on of the best singers of the world for his powerful voice and the capacity to sing awesome pieces, to me is one of my favorite’s singers. Brain for his part also is considerate on of the beast guitarist in the history.

Since I was a child I liked to listen queen, songs like somebody to love or I want to break free were my favorites, still now!  Others like killer queen, under pressure or don’t stop me know are a really good songs and perfects to raise the mood and turn happy.

Lamentably the band was over with the dead of Freddy, it was a really tragic notice to the world of music.

Actually the band is active, with May y Taylor of the original group; it is fine because make the work for the band and his music don’t die in the stages.

I hope to go some day to some concert of queen, because I think it could be an unforgettable experience, listening the songs that I love.

english in the university

 When I entered to the university I had to do English courses, after I have reviewed the study program and I think... mmm I have English in the university… that is nice. 

well in the beginning of the year I had to do a test that says me what course I should do, I qualified to english 3 and in the start of classes I took the course,it was something similar that the course I do know, with blogs and classes of English, after doing that course I passed to the next course: english 4 with the profe Victor.

I felt this course was good, it was something relaxed, and I had nice time with my partners in classes and made post on blogger was something new to me.

I think that the blogs are a good tool to develop the english and the writer side of people, it makes you think about ideas and put them into words, and also you can have a nice time doing this. I have never written about topics in a long time, it was nice, I developed my writer side and maybe it could be the start to be a great and known blogger.

To me, if I don't have constant practice of the english, is hard to progress in this language and also keep the level that I have, because I forget the words, the form to express a phrase in the correct way, and also speak fluent.

I think that I should to improve a lot of things of my english, for example, a lot of times I get my tongue tangled when I speak in english or increase my vocabulary, other thing that I would like to improve is to write well the language, I always have problems with that.

In the ordinary days I like to listen a lot of music in english but not always I understand what the lyrics say, I like to be more gringo for that. 

also a lot of things that I do, I must to do it in english, for example in the university, the papers that I must read or maybe some article that found in the web are in english, and is so important to know the language to understand the texts in the best way.

Today the english Is so important in the life of people, because is a tool that can you open a lot of doors to develop our abilities and know the world.

my vacations

Hi everyone, today I will tell you what I’m going to do this summer.

To me, the vacations this year will be a little different from the way I usually spend them, because I always traveled to Santiago in the summer when I lived in Calama and then I traveled to other places, but this year the plans are a little different because I hope to go to the north.

This year also has been different, because the university process, I hope to not have exams in the end of the year, even the last exam is the December 31th to have the vacations before and enjoy better the summer.

This year, with my family we don't have plans to do in the summer, I hope to go in January and then be back in Santiago all in February, if some plans are born would be great, I love travelling and knowing new things, maybe we could go to the south but it is not confirmed.

But I have a plan e.e !! A friend and I are planning go to Calama (when I go in January he will travel with me), to be in my house and then go to san Pedro a few days. I hope that these plans come true.

I knew san Pedro, I had gone a lot of times because is near to Calama, but always you have things to do in this paradise place.

In san Pedro you can go to beautiful places like valleys, lakes, etc. and if you like the extreme sports you can have a great time doing sun board, I remember that I did this in the night, it was awesome.

My friend doesn't know this part of the north; it’s a new place to him. Maybe I can show him a few things that I know in san Pedro.

Hopefully this summer will be awesome. With a lot of relax and fun.

SDLE

In the faculty of dentistry of the university of Chile, there is a mystic week in the year, it is about celebrating the anniversary of the dentistry school, here the students, also the teachers have a great time with friends and with a lot of activities.

But it is not a simple anniversary week, most of the activities are about drinking, in sexual context, and sometimes really weird things appear. And how it's known with a lot of alcohol.

In this post I will try to show the sdle from my point of view.

The first day in the university, when I started to know all about the place where I’m studying and the things that the people do along the year, someone told me a few things about the sdle, and it is a very expected week. 

Well, in September everyone in the university spoke about the sdle, until the day came. It is a week the students give their life to win the competences, especially the older generations.

All the activities have a quantity of points, but the most daring and weird have a lot of points, and there is an option to say that you can do something freak and the judges gives points for that.

For example I remember that a guy went on stage saying that he will burn his butt like the cows with the acronym "sdle" and the guy ended up with his two buttocks burned.

I remember that was an activity of music, like "tocatas", and all the people turned crazy (including me) and  I had a very good and painful time (cause of the moshas)

I really had a good time in this week, I met people, and I tried to participate a little. I hope to be in all the sdle that wait for me.

postgraduate course

Hi everyone, in this blog I going to talk about my plans after finish my career.

Is hard to me now write about a postgraduate course because  I’m coursing my first year in the university and I don’t have a complete idea of the specialties, but I hope to make a course that make me a specialist in one area of the dentistry.

my plans in this time are finish the career and I would like to work a few years in some place away the big cities, anyplace, and after in a complete time (if it is possible) study my specialty.

If I have the opportunity to study in other country in a privileged university, it would a fantastic notice, I would make all the effort to have this possibility.

To be honest I don’t know how works the system in the universities to make a postgraduate title, I listened that you can get points if you works a few years, but I don't really know.

Before to entry to the university I liked the surgeon specialties like maxillofacial, but in my first year in the university I have been learning a little of the specialties in dentistry and now catch my attention the periodontology and the oral rehabilitation, I think that is a very interesting specialties and so lofty to.

The periodontology is a part of the dentistry that works with all the tissues that are around the tooth, and the oral rehabilitation is a very complete area because combines a lot of specialties and works in treatment to give back the function to the oral cavity.

I hope that I can do my specialty and be a great dentist who can help the people.

my dream job

Hi everyone, this week I will talk about the dream job that I like to do.

I think if all of us do the things that we really like, maybe the world could be better, and the people could be happier doing the things that they love.

in my case, now I am studying dentistry, and I hope to work in a few years with the persons to fix their smiles, is a beautiful and courteous job, I liked so much the dentistry but if I could work in a other thing like a dream job it could be an adventure guide.

This job I think that is so good to be a relax person, without stress and have new things to tell every days.

I imagine me if I get this job, traveling to different parts in the world, having amazing adventures in rivers, in the forest or in the jungle, maybe I the desert !! Also go with a group explaining the things that I see around us.

I love the nature, it is one of the reasons that I like to do this work, also meeting a lot of people like the tourist, and maybe amazing histories.

but I don’t want to keep apart the dentistry, I would like to have a good harmony in the things that I like, maybe work in the teeth and when I will have the time, escape of the city and go to some nature place, or maybe work in a apart town with a lot of adventure things to do and apart to the suburb.

If I have the opportunity to do the things that I like having a job that gives me that, I think that I would have a great and quiet life, maybe I would feel realized in this aspect.

my hobbies

Hi everyone! This week I' m going to write about my hobbies.

I think to have a balanced life, besides working or studying in my case, we need to do something different, to relax the mind and enjoy ourselves with something that we like.

in my case since I was  a child,  my father and I enjoyed making little model planes, I remember that my father did the hard work and I helped him, passing the pieces and the glue, I don't know how, but  it made me had fun. If I do that now, it could be very boring.

But when I grew a little, I started to build my own planes. My first planes were a complete disaster, but it didn’t matter, I enjoyed a lot with these little planes. 

now, if I get one, or sometimes, my family gives me one, I like to have an evening to make one of these models, but it's a little complicated because in this year I have a lot of things to do, and I don’t have the time to do my hobby, also I don't have planes to do  :'(

Besides the planes models, I like to play guitar, it relaxes me, and I can do this in any time. It is something like: I’m bored and I take the guitar and start to play some songs. Sometimes I start to get inspired and I can stay hours playing, but it makes me leave the others responsibilities. 

Now I hope to have some hobby, to relax, and making  other things could be nice for me.

the best concert ever

1 year ago, my best friend said to that the band who we love it comes to Chile, and with other friend made plans to go to Santiago to see the FOO FIGHTERS.

It was in the summer of 2015, in the athletic track of the national stadium. The Foo Fighters cames by second time to Chile, and this time with my two friends couldn’t be there. 

The foo fighters are a North American band, the style of music that they play are alternative rock, hard rock, and some of grunge.

The leader of the band is Dave Grohl; this guy was the drummer of nirvana when they played. After Kurt Cobain kills himself, Dave set up a new band, the name was “Foo Fighters".

The concert was amazing, I remember that before that play the bands, played "Los Mox" and "Kaiser Chiefs", they made a great atmosphere before the concert. But when the first tune of the foo's start to sounded, the people turned crazy and they (and me too) started to scream, jump and sing with the band, it was amazing.

The show was spectacular, they had a lot of lights and big screens, in the place, I remember that in a moment Dave was alone playing some acoustic songs, and then the rest of the band came up from the floor in a platform playing, we were astonish.

the country that i like to visit.

I like travelling a lot; the trips are a good way to get out of the routine and try new things, like food and traditions, for example.

I like to visit Australia, it's a country located in Oceania, next to the start of the Polynesia, is in the middle of the water, to the east the pacific ocean and to the west the Indian ocean, I think that it  has interesting places to visit, with a lots of types of weather, landscapes, strange animals that only live there and popular traditions. 

I would like to go for a long time, to visit and know all the country. maybe start with one of the most famous cities, Sydney,  all attractions that have this big city, like the opera, the bridge of the city, go to some match on a traditional stadium, go to the aquarium and visit some traditional places.

Other thing that I'd like to do, maybe the most exciting to me is to go to the Great Barrier Reef and practice scuba driving, meeting the flora and fauna of that incredible place, and maybe find nemo. 

Speaking about the movie is a good 

reference to the live down the water on those places.

 

The food is important thing, taste the flavors, of the country, with other traditions is a nice and delicious experience.

I hope to visit Australia someday, is a beautiful place to visit, maybe go with family or friends to have an unforgettable and beautiful experience.
